Commander Dennis K. Roeber graduated with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from South Dakota School of Mines in 1969 and received his commission as Ensign upon graduation from Officer Candidate School in November of 1969. The Commander's Duty Stations prior to coming aboard USS BARNSTABLE COUNTY:
